Folded Chair - 2010
A chair designed and fabricated as the final project of a fourth year furniture design class. The form of this chair was conceived as a continuous
line of tube steel, shaped into a narrow rectangle. This line bends and twists along its width, and is welded at points where it crosses itself.
Once stabilized, the flat shape is folded around itself to form legs, feet, sides, a back and seat-then welded again for structural rigidity.
